blogging…bumming…singing..kinda rhyme..or not!!! ;D

Its been years since i visited and write on this blog, but for some unknown reason i decided to check it again. Probably because i got all the time in the world or in some layman’s term i’m just bumming around since 9 am this morning and surfing the net and checking all my social media account. The truth is i got a lot of paper works that i’d brought home but i decided to skip it and not actually work on the entire weekend and just update my social media, Imagine 3 days of no work, so here i am finding myself sitting on this ottoman and blogging. For someone whose not socially web active person like me, suffice it to say that i have been quite active lately with my twitter, instagram and facebook. I find my self again interacting with my friends and relative and frankly its been quite refreshing and funny…I actually don’t have any idea on what i should write. I mean it’s been years, actually to be exact it’s been 6 years already since i wrote on this blog so forgive me if my brain is been kinda rusty hihihi…6 years is really quite a lot to crack my brain on some mind blowing thoughts…or to do a reflection on my self or in my life..And i really don’t want to bored you with unimportant stuff so instead i’ll try to do something different..They say that what you thought or write is a reflection of yourself and i’m not sure if its really true though..What’s true is i’m wasting my time blogging and i’m not even sure what i should be blogging about and for all i know not a single person would be interested in reading it..you see what a waste of time it is lol…Anyways back to this unimportant stuff, since i’ve been a music fanatic as in literally i live and breathe for music especially the 80’s music, my days wouldn’t be complete without listening to my fave kind of music. So i guess its only fittings to blog about it..I’m actually listening to my all time LSS which is “first love never dies” by eugene wilde and joanna gardner while updating this stupid blog of mine..i know cheeeeesy right!!!hehehe…But sorry to disappoint you that’s not the song i will blog about…actually its a really really old parody song that i found on youtube just i think a week ago and for the life of me i couldn’t recall how i bump on this particular song and the singer is freaking really really seriously gooood…she’s practically a word genius, i mean at first i have no idea what she’s signing about cause she’s kinda have an accent, not until i check the lyrics and oh boy she’s really good with rhyming with words.Now as shameful as it is it kinda stuck in my brain and i kinda memorized the song. Its actually freaking hilarious specially the emo part it really crack me up cause sometime in my not so distant youthful life i’m like her, i’m really that emo haha..so if you want to laugh for just a couple of minutes just check out her kesha tik tok parody..i mean you wont regret wasting just a couple of your minutes watching her cause she’s practically really freaking hilariously goood…so heres the link ;D

 

Your Song (birthday song)

I wasn’t a huge fan of sir elton john, never have been and never will be. But needless to say it doesn’t change the fact that his a music genius and i have respected him for that. People could say all the bad stuff about the man for simply having an implacable temper or for having an armalite voice that can cut through your heart with no remorse whatsoever base on what i heard or what i read in the newspaper. I really don’t know him.I really don’t have the slightest idea about the man he was or the man that he is. All i know is he happen to  sang one of my favorite song. The song “YOUR SONG” . If you must think about it. Its kinda goes down to the category of birthday song. I don’t know why but for some reason i think of it as a birthday song. There were alot of version of this song. First ofcourse is the original version by elton john. I must say not your favorite kind of voice but it weren’t that bad either.

Not that i don’t like his voice its more likely that its not my cup of tea. Frankly speaking his voice is better than fine but not that fine for my own ears. Well they say that the original version is much better than the revival but i must disagree on this one. I find the other version much amusing for my hearing. I say his ten times a better song writer than a singer. Ofcourse its just a matter of perspective not that i want you to agree with me. Why would i ever do that!

Then there is this version by ronan keating with elton john. Wasn’t that bad either but it kinda rough and that there is something about it that’s lacking. Somehow you don’t get the feel of it. What the song really trying to convey.

And then there it was the ewan mcgregor version and you now  know in your heart everything seems perfect. Finally!!! everything seems crystal clear and you finally get to feel the true meaning of the word.  Not that ewan mcgregor had a bed room voice that would swept you off your feet. Its nothing like that at all. Its the way on how he sings the song that made the difference. I don’t know maybe because his a much better actor or maybe its just the way it is. When you get down to it. Who cares??? all i know is i love ewan mcgregor version much better and you couldn’t do a single damn thing about it.  😛

The truth of the matter is i have no idea even a slightest one who the heck are this girl group called the “Wonder Girls”. But ever since i heard their song in rx 2 days ago i got so curious and next thing i know i was singing to the song “NOBODY” . Its now my current lss (last song syndrome). Since this song got me so curious enough i decided to do a little research about this girl group called the wonder girls and true enough i found quite a lot. They’re actually south korean girl group composed of 5 members  whom were all selected through audition. Wonder Girl is the name of three fictional characters featured as superheroes in the comic books and other media produced by DC Comics. The original was a younger version of Wonder Woman. The second and third are protégés of Wonder Woman, and members of different incarnations of the Teen Titans but technically speaking that is not where they got their name at least not that im sure of.

They have scored three consecutive #1 hit singles: “Tell Me”, “So Hot“, and “Nobody“.In 2008, they won two Daesangs (“Artist of the Year” Awards).

As a group, the Wonder Girls were introduced through the program called MTV Wonder Girls which was filmed and directed by MTV. The first four episodes outlined the characteristics and profiles of each member and showcased their schedules for the day. Not long after selecting Ye Eun as the fifth member, the Wonder Girls had their showcase in the MTV Studio. In the showcase, they performed a cover of “Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls and their own songs, such as “Irony” and “A Sorry Heart”. Sun Ye did the solo by singing Destiny’s Child‘s “Stand Up for Love” while Hyun-a showed off her dancing skills with a solo dance. I’m ashamed to admit it but i never really like david cook. But that was before i knew the man behind the voice. The kind of guy that he was and still is before winning the coveted American Idol. You can say im actually biased coz how could i easily judged somebody when in fact i don’t even watch american idol. I would only watch it once in a blue moon and that is while im waiting for the start of smallville at the other local channel. I don’t know why but i used to find him pompous. The kind of man that definitely wouldn’t bow or kneel to just anybody just because that person said so. He has this look that would make you think, yeah his definitely somebody! and quite frankly  something that you would admired on the person. I hate to admit it that but now he  become somebody that i hate to like. YES! im now officially “cookiefied” hehehe..if ever there’s such a word for it. First it was that song  “Come Back To Me”  that touch my nerve or rather my soul. I didn’t dream that the time will come that i would actually like a song that was sang by cook.

The first time i heard this song believe it or not i was at the hospital waiting patiently for some test result and keep hearing that song every single day that i was there. The first time i heard the song i  said to myself is that who i think it is. The guy i used to disliked. The famous cook who has a distingue voice that wouldn’t have mistaken it for anybody else. Now im definitely “Cookiefied”. I must say hearing him singing this song i actually could feel his pain. I know what his going or gone through. I experience that kind of pain when someone i love the most was in the ICU for the longest time. It was pure hell. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t work. I was immovable for sometime. Like my world stop for a moment and my heart was bleeding tremendously and there’s nothing i could ever do but accept the fact that someone i love was fighting for her dear life and i need to be brave. But there i was crying at the hospital cr of her room and couldn’t accept the fact that i might lose her forever. Atleast now its all in the past. A nightmare that i had no plan of revisiting anytime soon ..

“Don’t Cry Joni”

It so fitting that im doing this since she and i both love the song. Yup! its one of the demanding queen’s favorite song. Love the song with every bone on her body hehe..No need to be semantic but for this one i will. Everytime she would hear the song the only thing that would come up to her mind and bragged about is the tv episode she watched ages ago.Atleast there’s one thing we have in common the love for Joni and Jimmy hehehe.. The story of a young brave soldier who goes into war and leave behind the young girl next door whom he secrectly love. 

Just like the song. The girl (joni)  asked him (jimmy)  to wait for her. Joni- “Jimmy please say you wait for me. I grow up someday you’ll see. Saving all my kisses just for you. Signed with love forever true” while her tears fell like a bucket of rains. Jimmy-“Joni joni please don’t cry.you’ll forget me by and by.You’re just 15 and im 22.And Joni i just can’t wait for you“. Like every sad love song or sappy movie. The hero didn’t always end up with his heroine. Instead they always end up with the next best thing “the best friend”. Sucks! i know right!…What surprise me the most is that it was a father and daughter tandem..No idea that the girl joni singing on the background was indeed the daughter of conway twitty. If i didn’t found his video i wouldn’t have known.

Since im into www lately. I discovered some site i must say that i really like and is more expedient for my taste. Its innovative not to mentioned cheap cause it doesn’t cost much expect of course for the fact that you need to have an internet connection to access it. Its informative in the sense that you can actually listen even download for free to music compilation of your favorite artist that’s nolonger visible to music industry or watch music video you nolonger thought existed or you just simply don’t have a copy mainly because its an old song and somehow nolonger available in the music bar.In short obsolete!  The site it self isn’t strenuous to handle. Its easy especially if you’re a tech idiot like me. Hey i wouldn’t admit that im a computer wiz but im not that dumb either. I’m still capable to learn new stuff. Because i am a  music buff. The stuff i often search is anything that has got to do with music and music video. Music is already part of my everyday life. I couldn’t go another day without hearing some of my fave music on my player or even on the radio. Its a part of me. Music is me. The song i often listen to range from the 60’s up to the 90’s. But of all the music genre my favorite is the 80’s. I don’t know why maybe mainly because i grew up listening  to 80’s song. I mean i grew up listening to my older siblings tapes. Yep! it was still tape during that era. CD weren’t invented that time or probably they already did but weren’t yet as popular as tapes. From Tears for Fears, Duran-Duran, The Police, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, Wham, Michael Jackson, The Jets, Rick Astley, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Madonna, James Taylor etc..

The DJ in me has finally came out hehe..Atleast in this website i can be a DJ. “2009 Life Soundtrack”

Last year ended so badly.I must say badly was an understatement word.Couldn’t explain what happen how did it happen.It just happen and there’s nothing i could do or say but just face it and deal with it.Its indescribable. Felt like my heart was rip into a million pieces. I never beg anyone on my entire life except that moment. Felt like there’s a shredded machine on the room and my heart was the one that was being shred. But for someone you love even going to hell there’s never an option.You wouldn’t think twice you just dive and go through it even if there’s no life jacket to save you. Now after months of uncertainty and not expecting something good will come out.I have no idea that this year would turn out something i wouldn’t really expect. So i guess its really true that beneath the cloud there is always a silver lining something on that line.

Okay fine!!!!! I just want to clarify FYI im not an adam lambert fan. I don’t even know the guy. Haven’t heard that he exist not until i watched a couple American Idol episode and im not even an AI fan. I just watched it to satisfy my curiosity.But when i heard adam lambert version of Mad World which is originally done by Tears for Fears. I even asked chix and delle geez are you guys serious? Is that really Adam.How did it happen that he have a nice voice.I never thought that his voice is actually nice. I can’t imagine that his becoming somebody that i hate to like hehe…Just like David Cook whom i  find before so pompous.But that was before now i actually admired the guy.Quite a nice guy i must say.

“Music Buff”

Since im a music buff there’s nothing i want more in the world than listening to all my favorite song.And some of it happens to be songs from broadway and movie theme from some of the movies i like.Yup..ofcourse i know a little bit of broadway.And some of it happen to be sung by non other than D’ LEA SALONGA..Okay i know what you’re probably thinking ooh know Lea Salonga not again aren’t you tired of listening to her songs already. So without further due here are some of my favorite songs from broadway and movies.
